For children and teens with difficult backgrounds, the effects of their past can often lead to big behaviors, developmental delays and other challenges. But no child is beyond hope and healing. Summer EBT is Back in 2025

Summer EBT is a grocery benefits program. It helps families buy food for their school-aged children when school is out. Each summer, families will get one payment of $120 on an Oregon EBT card for each eligible child to buy groceries. Unused Summer EBT benefits expire 122 days after issuance.

April 16 at Noon Addressing Vax hesitancy: Lessons from MI Discuss the use of MI in addressing vaccine hesitancy, review critical concepts needed to use MI successfully to build vaccine confidence. April 22 at Noon Building Vaccine Confidence in the Clinic: A training for Medical Educators Learn strategies for creating a therapeutic space for clinic visits and building rapport through vaccine conversations. Increasing Immunization June 9 at Noon Empathy in Action Review culture-based reasons for vaccine hesitancy, how to broach this topic in a respectful manner, and how to use skills of Motivational Interviewing(MI) to promote vaccination in a culturally-sensitive manner.

Do you work with a low income family that has concerns regarding child safety in their home? Home child safety items may be requested by an agency on behalf of families with young children. These items can be used for owned or rental property. Requests will need to include the number of items needed, ensure that you have this information before starting the form. Families must live in Morrow, Umatilla or Union county. Requestable items: Baby gates Door/cabinet latches, covers and locks Window/sliding door stoppers Electronic/plug covers Stove/Fridge locks and more
