CHD Fall Youth Group- Exploring Art- Limited spots (Pre-Reg)
Timeframe:
Sep -Dec, Fridays 3:00-5:00pm
Details:
Ages: 14-Adult. Location: Elgin Library. Each group will be run for four sessions. Participants will explore a different art medium where they will create projects to take home. Wraparound SOC materials will be offered, community building in the context of positive social connections; art as a support and means self-expression, self-care and path to wellness.
CHD Fall Youth Groups- Girls Group
Timeframe:
Sep - Dec, Thursdays 1:20-2:10pm
Details:
Ages: 11-14. Location: At the Middle School in CHDs office on 2nd floor. Girls will meet to discuss current struggles, successes, and various topics that are important to their development. Students will discuss relationships, boundaries, communication, managing stress, and any other topics the students are interested in. Open to all students in age range.
CHD Fall Youth Groups- Crocheting, Knitting, & Relaxing
Timeframe:
Sep- Dec, Thursdays 3:30-4:30pm
Details:
Ages: 13-17.Location: CHD, Gold Room. Youth will learn the basics of crocheting/knitting, with different crafts. Youth will practice expressing themselves and learn skills for relaxing and mindfulness.

Sep-Dec, Tuesdays 3:10-4:30pm
Details:
Ages: 11-14. Location: La Grande Middle School, meet out front after school. Empowering middle schoolers to navigate the digital world confidently through education on internet safety, screen time management, and healthy gaming. The group will meet after school for a fun lesson and play games together afterwards.

Ages: 5-17. Location: Timber Ridge Apartments Community Building (3002 East Q Ave). Group for youth focusing on artistic expression and emotional development. All supplies are provided. Parental attendance required for younger children.
